Ireland’s Brendan Murray says “Don’t Take Me for Granted” in latest original song

Two weeks ago he shared his original song “Chances on the Road” and has watched it rack up more than 34,000 Facebook views since then.

And on Monday Ireland’s Eurovision 2017 star Brendan Murray shared another original track, proving there’s a lot more music left in him.

In his latest tune “Don’t Take Me for Granted”, Brendan strums his guitar while offering some tough love to himself and others distracted by their own thoughts.

As he says: “You can never escape your true self and try to hide your life on a shelf, and lock the door and throw away the key. You’ve got to face reality and give up all your fantasies and focus on what you really mean.”

Clarity, he says, can come with a little help from his beloved: “I want you and I need you — alone I feel without you, without you.”
