Not a confession: Are Eurovision songs on the radios in other countries? For example, in Poland very often you can hear City Lights on the radio 🙂 Sorry for my english 😂

Yes they are! Of course, the songs that are played depends on the country and radio station, too :)

They are, but not as often as we’d like x)) that’s why I’m always happy to hear them on the radio :D

lol i downloaded the ESC Radio app a month ago because what’s actually playing on the radio is (sometimes) trash, and i’ve been Blessed™ ever since, discovering new songs that i never thought i would ever like.

I don’t have the app, now that I think of it! I’m usually blessed with good radio (when in car… which is the only moment I’m listening to the radio xD), but it’s great for those who are used to listening to having music as background when they’re at home :)

There’s ESC radio, a radio station that plays only eurovision songs. Its not really on a legit radio but you can listen to it on your computer or on an app on your phine.

It’s a great radio station indeed! :D

Unfortunately, it’s not a “mainstream” one, as you have to look for it online :-/

Poll: What is Poland’s best Eurovision entry since its 2014 return?

Since returning to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014, Poland has gone four-for-four when it comes to making the final.

It’s a remarkable turnaround. Following three straight non-qualifications from 2009 until 2011, and two years sitting out in 2012 and 2013, Poland has emerged as a consistent qualifier — even when fielding songs in diverse genres from saccharine balladry to raunchy rap.

Today TVP confirmed that they’ll compete at Eurovision 2018 in Portugal — once again staging a national final. Ahead of that grand spectacle we just have to know: What is your favourite entry since Poland’s 2014 return?

Below you can re-watch each of their performances, and read a positive and negative review from the Wiwi Jury — our in-house panel of music unprofessionals. Then let us know your favourites by voting in our poll.

Poland has made the Eurovision final every year since it returned in 2014. Now that they have confirmed for 2018, why not revisit their recent successes?

Junior Eurovision 2017: Poland confirms participation following last year's ratings win

Last year, when Poland announced its return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Eurofans joked that Poland would achieve its biggest success at JESC ever. Since the country had last participated, a rule had been added granting every participant 12 points.

But as it turned out Poland finished well clear of the bottom, even without the gifted douze points, coming 11th of 17 countries — a new high for the country.

And last Tuesday TVP confirmed that it will return to Junior Eurovision this November in the Republic of Georgia. JESC 2017 — get ready!

Last year Junior Eurovision was the most-watched program on Poland's state broadcaster for the day. Now they begin their search for their 2017 singer.

Eurovision.TV sent out a press release over the 2017 Junior Eurovision song contest.

Artists of 16 countries - Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Cyprus, FYR Macedonia, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, The Netherlands and Ukraine will perform in Georgia on November 26th 2017.

A new online voting format will be introduced to this year's song contest, alongside the Jury vote, allowing viewers across the world to cast votes for their favourite artists.

A change of venue will see the Junior Eurovision Song Contest take place at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi.

Here is the full press release

9 August 2017 – Young stars from across Europe will eagerly make their way to Tbilisi, Georgia this November, as it is announced that 16 hopeful participants will perform at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. For the first time ever, a new voting structure will be introduced to allow viewers from around the world to vote online for their favourite artists.

Hoping to continue in their success after a win at this year's Eurovision Song Contest 2017, Portugal have returned to the Junior stage after a 10-year absence, having last competed in 2007. They will join past winners Armenia, Belarus, Italy, Malta, Russia and Ukraine in the Georgian capital along with other 2016 participants Albania, Australia, Cyprus, FYR Macedonia, Ireland, Poland, Serbia and The Netherlands. Completing the 16-strong line up will be host country Georgia, who triumphed during last year's contest in Malta.

Georgia's public broadcaster GPB will host the event at the modern 4,000-seat Olympic Palace in Tbilisi which was considered more suitable than the previously announced Sports Palace for its numerous facilities for delegations, media and fans.

All eyes will be on Georgian capital Tbilisi, with its rich arts and cultural heritage, for the 15th Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which has been organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and a member host broadcaster every year since 2003. The event, showcasing talented artists aged 9-14, will take place on Sunday, 26 November 2017 16:00-18:00 CET.

In a brand new change to the voting system, audience online voting will be available this year and will initially open from Friday (24/11) to Sunday (26/11). Viewers who would like to vote will be required to watch a recap of all songs, before entering the voting platform on the JESC official website. After this, voters will also have the option to watch longer 1-minute clips from each participant's rehearsal. This first round of voting will stop on Sunday (26/11) at 15:59 CET.

During the live show, online voting will start again after the last performance and will be open for 15 minutes. The final audience result will be a combination of both pre-show and live voting rounds, accounting for 50% of the total vote.

Jon Ola Sand, the EBU's Head of Live Events and Executive Supervisor of the JESC, said 'We are thrilled to be celebrating 15 editions of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Throughout the Contest's history we have seen some incredibly talented children perform, some of whom are now successful artists in their own right. The new voting system is an exciting new addition that will allow millions of viewers to take part in the show once again".

2017's winner can look forward to a bright future with last year's title-holder Mariam Mamadashvili already set for big things. After taking the crown in Malta during 2016, the 11 year-old Georgian singer has been taking private lessons at Broadway Method Academy and been accepted into a leading New York boutique talent agency.
