Tonight in what can only be described as a spectacular show from Israel, it was Moran Mazor with the song Rak bishvilo that won the hearts of the jury and voting public, and will now represent their country in Malmö in May.

Tonight, Israel's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest took place. Ten acts competed for the right to represent their country in Düsseldorf . The winner was chosen by a combination of televoting (48%), professional jury (40%) and fans (12%). Dana International will represent Israel in Düsseldorf with her self-composed song entitled Ding Dong
