Couldn’t ignore the invitation
To be courageous
To take the reins and
Write my own pages
In the valley of search

Yeah I guess 24 is just one of those ages
Something inside of me awakened
An evolutionary transformation
Time for me to make some changes
Time to do something with those saved up pay checks
I had a good hand, so I played it
One-way ticket to E-S-T
And followed my roots to uncertainty
Yeah it was scary at first
I had this thirst that I couldn’t quench
I couldn’t tell if the choice I had made was making any sense
But my brother, he stood by
Kept encouraging me
“No, it might not come easy,
but it comes if you believe”
